Data Dashboard

The data is gathered in coordination with OSPI, and produced by ECEP. It provides a nationwide view using the same data standad, allowing us to compare across states. Data lags by one year, but is likely the most accurate data pull, as the OSPI data team conducts the queries and cleans the data before providing to ECEP, and ensures it is in accordinance with the state definition of computer science.

Landscape Report

We are a community of advocates helping achieve this vision for our state. We do this by organizing information and people who are working toward this goal, preventing siloing across schools, government, and industry, but also building joyful community centered around learning and teaching computing.

CS for All WA

Strategic Plan

This WA State K-12 Computer Science Strategic Plan is intended to be a companion to Guidance document and represents the continued work of the CS Advisory Group. This strategic plan will guide decisions that will ensure all K-12 students, especially those furthest from opportunity, in WA State will have the opportunity to engage in high-quality CS education. The successful implementation of this plan will require a coordinated effort by multiple stakeholders and oversight at all levels to ensure success.

AI Guidance

In K–12 education, uses of AI should always start with human inquiry and always end with human reflection, human insight, and human empowerment. This model, abbreviated as “Human AI Human” or “H AI H” throughout this guidance, offers pathways for educators, school district administrators, and students to engage with AI responsibly, ethically, and safely.
