The dashboards explore the changes in computing course enrollment of high school students and their post-graduation outcomes. The Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) created themwith the use of data from the Matyland Longitudina; Data System Center (MLDSC).
Landscape Report
The Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) was formally established in statute and funded with the enactment of Securing the Future: Computer Science Education for All on July 1, 2018. The purpose of MCCE is to “expand access to high-quality computer science education in grades pre-kindergarten through 12 by strengthening the skills of educators and increasing the number of computer science teachers in elementary and secondary education.”
Strategic Plan
Maryland’s 2016 plan launched the Maryland Center for Computing Education. While there have been more recent iterations that you can see here, it is their 2016 report that made their current impacts possible.

The AI Policy template was devloped by the Alabama Department of Education to be used by local districts.
